Hello Friends and Family,
Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! We gobbled ’til we waddled with fellow military families in our neighborhood. It’s great having my husband’s co-workers as neighbors, let me tell you. It’s also really nice to meet other military wives who know the stresses and demands of our lifestyle.
Now that Thanksgiving is over, we are 100% geared up for Christmas. We wasted no time in picking up a Christmas tree and decorating it. I took a few photos of the occasion, since it’s a first for us. Last year, on December 23 Isaac and I were busy eloping in downtown OKC. It left little time for us to set up decor for a proper Christmas.
This year, we’re in our brand new home, and expecting our first child (due March 8th). With all those big events behind us, and on the horizon, it was only natural that we go all out on Holiday this year.

Enjoy the decoration animation while we cozy up by the tree and countdown the days ’til Christmas.
Cheers!
C & I, hope I’m doing this right….Did you actually cook a whole turkey ? Your Mom & Dad
did a beautirul job of actual SEATING for almost 30 ! It was awesome ! I really don’t know
how to do this reply to this thing, can’t I just plain e-mail ????
Happy Belated Turkey Day,
Love you all three,
Oma & Poppa
Hi, Oma! We didn’t cook a turkey ourselves, our neighbors deep fried one at a potluck style event that we went to. We brought along desserts.
We’re sorry to have missed turkey day on OKC, sounds like it was great.
Are those actual WRAPPED Christmas presents I see already under your tree?? I am getting out our decorations TODAY. Thanks for the animation motivation-Loved it!
Christie
Yep! We’re all done Christmas shopping. All I really need to do is pick up a few stocking stuffers. And stockings too, for that matter.
Lovely! – Question – How did you do the stop motion? I’d love to!
Naima, the animation is called a GIF and I used photoshop to make mine. Here’s the link to a great tutorial. Hope this helps!
Awesome, Thanks!
Thanks, Crystle, that was completely Greek to me…..don’t think I’ll be using GIF anytime soon ! You do good work on the computer ! Love, Oma
Thanks, Crystle, I don’t even know what a GIF file IS, so I guess
I don’t know how to make one….my computer knowledge is VERY
limited….I just know how to type (learned in highschool) !
Love to all 3, Oma
